Georgia Notice to Contractor: 30 days

Notice to Contractor: if you have no contract with the contractor and a Notice of Commencement was filed for the job, send a written Notice to Contractor to the owner and the contractor within 30 days after the Notice of Commencement was filed or 30 days after your first delivery of labor, services, or materials, whichever is later. If no Notice of Commencement was filed, this step does not apply. § 44-14-361.5(a), (c), (d).

Count it for your job

Type your date. The page shows the deadline and the statute it comes from. Nothing you type leaves this phone. This quick check assumes you have no contract with the contractor and that a Notice of Commencement was filed. For other cases, use the full calculator.
